Mark Barrett

Mark currently serves as the president of Bloomfield Hills Insurance Agency and Barrett Property Management (BPM). He has been married for over 25 years and has been working with his wife and best friend since 1994. His first position was with his family's agency, when he was 12 years old. The first commercial insurance policy he wrote was in 1981. BPM operates two manufactured housing communities and other rental properties.

Mark is currently an instructor for the State of Michigan Continuing Education Department in the field of prefabricated building installation and service.

Mark graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and Marketing. He has certificates from Michigan State University, Drake University and Oberlin College, designation of Certified Insurance Counselor and a Surplus Lines License.

Mark enjoys his free time on the golf course.

Devra Barrett

has been working in the insurance industry for over 20 years. She attended the University of Kentucky majoring in Business Administration. She currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Oakland County and the National Instar Users Group (insurance agency operating system). She is a member of the Insurance Association of Metropolitan Detroit (IAMD) and National Association of Insurance Woman (NAIW). She is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) and was recognized as a “Professional Woman of the Year” in 2010. She has the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR).

Alisa Lewis, CISR

Alisa started in the insurance industry in Shawnee Missions, Kansas when she was 19-years-old. After 12 years, she was transferred to Michigan where she worked in a claims office for 5 years. Alisa joined Barrett and Associates in January 2004 and received her CISR designation in 2006.

When she is not working, Alisa is raising two children. As a family, they love to go to the theater to watch movies and collect DVD's. They also like to bike ride and go to amusement parks, the more roller coasters, the better.

Tanya Cannon, CISR

Tanya, a licensed property and casualty agent, handles personal lines sales and servicing, and small commercial lines sales with over 15 years of experience in the insurance industry. Formal training has led to her designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and she is currently working on obtaining additional designations and continued study through The National Alliance for Insurance Education. In her spare time, Tanya enjoys traveling, cooking, reading and time spent with family and friends.

Sandy Cordner

Sandy is licensed in property and casualty and has her Certified Insurance ServiceRepresentative (CISR) designation. Sandy came to Barrett & Associates Inc. in December 2005 after 19 years with a major insurance carrier as an underwriter assistant in theCommercial Lines Department.

Sandy likes taking trips with her husband on their motorcycles and going camping which includes taking their three dogs along. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, photography and working on her ancestry tree.

Renee Dahlin

Renee Dahlin is our specialist in manufactured homeowners insurance. Renee accomplished receiving her property and casualty licenses as well as her Certified Insurance ServiceRepresentative (CISR) designation. Renee has very little time, but loves spending it with her daughter, Hope, and close friends. She also loves to cook and often can be found on her back porch firing up the grill.

Renee has a passion for animals. Not only was she once an accomplished equestrian, but now she owns a mini zoo consisting of a French Bulldog, two kittens, a rabbit, and three goldfish.

Jim Cauzillo

Jim joined our agency in October of 2009. He is a state licensed producer, and is finishing certification in the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI) program. Jim's background in banking and finance has provided him with the necessary skills to assist and consult with our clients. Currently, he is working with manufactured housing property owners and business owners to help secure their financial interests.

Jim is a proud graduate of the University of Detroit, where he met his wife Penny. When not in the office, Jim can be found on the golf course with Penny or wading for trout in Northern Michigan.
